  • how to uninstall

I can't get jpodder to work correctly so I want to uninstall it. However,it doesnt show up under add/remove programs and when I click on the uninstall link at Start>Prgrams>JPodder, I am told that the uninstall.exe file can't be found for this program. How can get this program off my computer?.

  • Comment: jpodder records wrong filename

I noticed that jpodder is seeing the xml tag "itunes:subtitle" and using that for the folder name. The problem is that some folks make that XML tag data sooooo long that the folder name ends up too long for win32 (vfat) file systems to deal with it. Maybe it should truncate at a sane length?.

  • Followup: RE: Is this project dead?

Hi, jPodder will not be further developped. However, I have taken the source and integrate some of it as a plugin into rssowl. But there as well, I am putting little effort. cheers / Christophe.

  • Is this project dead?

Is there any development still going on? There is a candidate 1.1 for Windows but not for Linux ... is this still being worked on?.

  • Followup: RE: Jpodder will not connect to site

I am just guessing here, but it could be firewall trouble. Do the problem computers have different firewalls than the one that works?.

  • It deleted all my podcasts!

THey're just fucking gone! Sorry to be rude, but this sucks. The folder just disappeared, and I can't even recover it with undelete software! Jesus, all software should delete to the recycle bin, not just erase stuff from the drive. This is great! Thanks a bunch for screwing me over.

  • Ideas for much needed Improvements

I would be a JPodder user in spite of a couple of interface issues I don't like, but there are a few features that without I will keep doing my podcasts (and there are allot of them) manually with my browsers feedreader. 1) you can't save a feed to an individual save folder. I have a folder for each of my individual podcasts and to lose this organization would be a royal mess. Some podcasts...

In version 1.1, you can simply right-click on the episode you want and select download.

  • How to Download Skipped Episodes

I have recently added a feed. There are a several old podcasts from the last few weeks. They were not downloaded, and I can not figure out how to tell jpodder to download them. I can see them in the window next to the image of the subscription, and when I click on one I see a description, but they were not downloaded. When I click download now, they do not download. I was able to get juice...
