JPEG thumbnail generator. Makes small images from your big ones. Should work on just about any *nix with libjpeg.
This version features an autoconf driven build process. Yes, jpgtn now comes with a configure script. It should build cleanly on Linux now too.

Linux users will probably need to add either: #include <getopt.h> or #include <unistd.h> near the beginning of the jpgtn.c source file. Also, the makefile in the 2.01 includes a local path in the CFLAGS variable. This shouldn't hurt but ...
A bug which caused segmentation faults on some systems and corrupted filenames on some other systems has been corrected.

Fixed a bug whereby I was neglecting to initialize the variable holding the output filename.
After three years of innactivity, work on jpgtn has esumed. Version 2.00 is now available on Ibiblio and SourceForge. This release, the first since version 1.04, fixes some bugs and provides a few new features.
Many changes since version 1.04 was released over 3 years ago. Please see the CHANGES file in the distribution package.
