Hi all,
Still happily using JmDNS for my projects, but I ran into an oddity the other day.
Our users can configure the name they want to register our app with (so they can distinguish between the production and test environments, for instance) and this worked great, until one of our testers put a '.' (period) as the last character of the name.
This one is easy enough to catch, but are there other characters to watch out for? And is there a way to escape such characters? I looked at the Multicast DNS draft doc, and it didn't mention any specific limitations.
TIA,
Jan Schenkel.
