I couldn't replicate this problem. Downloaded the files on a Win XP machine and it ran first time.
The dos window is normal, as this is how py2exe works. Nothing I can do about that unfortunately. All I can suggest is that you install python, pygame and wxpython and run the source code and see if that give the same error. If you need more help, a quicker way of contacting me is to email...

I have downlaoded and unzipped v 0.0.6 on an XP home PC.
When I ran the exe a dos window opened and then windows reported that he program had encountered an error and had to close.
When I set the program to run in compatability mode for win 98 it ran but reported it could not find or open the alphabet files.
There are where they should be and where the program is looking.
