JID - Java Image Downloader
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
JID is a bulk image downloader for image hosting services based on Java, so you will need the Java Runtime Environment 1.7 or higher (http://www.oracle.com)


Installation
~~~~~~~~~~~~
1) Remove old versions.
2) if not yet done install Java Runtime Environment 1.7 or higher
2) Extract the contents of the archive to a directory of your choice, run the jar file (java -jar jid.jar)


Save settings in a different directory
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
the path can be specified in the file 'manifest.dat'. In order to save the settings in your home dir, use the token %HOME%. Example: your home dir is '/home/myname'. For the subdir 'mysubdir', the correct entry is: %HOME%/mysubdir

Usage
~~~~~
In order to download images you can enter links (show/IM/email/direct links) manually or extract from a website/forum
Under File->Settings you can set the maximum number of simultanous downloads and the output directory.
