Create versioned backups. Combines the best features of a mirror and incremental backups. The last backup is always a mirror, previous versions are available as incremental backups. Uses no special file format. Mainly an AntTask that is easy to integrate.

There is now a first testing release of JBup. JBup creates a mirror of the current file sets and compares it to the previous full backup. The deltas are saved and the previous mirror is removed. By applying the increments in reverse time order complete backups of arbitrary versions can be restored. It was already successfully tested under Windows 2000, Ant 1.6.3 and Java 1.4.2_03 for several weeks. It saves different project directories to a network device. Difference tools showed the same differences as *JBup* saved. The release includes the source code and usage samples.
