Java and ColdFusion libraries to lookup country code and language from IP address. It uses a local copy of the WHOIS database to perform fast, accurate lookups of country codes. Useful for log analysis, internationalization, geolocation, etc..

i'm torn between thumbs UP and DOWN, cause this is super duper awesome for locale driven websites / apps. but like another poster was hoping for a more granular returnset. thanks though, will remember this one

Its gives only locale. but i wanted to know the city/state of the IP address
