I finally released the latest version of ITAWA, which is a near total redesign. Hopefully, you will find the new version more user friendly and flexible for your needs. But I also need feedback! I am in the dark about what people think so far! Enjoy. Thanks. Sean.
My goal is to release the next version of ITAWA by August 31 at the latest. It will again be a beta version (no testers available), but will be light-years different from the previous version. For starters: -Correct normalization -Transaction processing -Warranty tracking -1/8 the number of database objects -Dynamic tracking of items and their details -Advanced report management -Simple interface (no ActiveX controls, which may be released as an add-on) -And more... Thanks. Sean Perryman.
I messed up on a couple references in my code. rs As Recordset db As Database needed to be rs As DAO.Recordset db As DAO.Database But all is fixed and works fine. This problem shows itself due to the zip, upload, download, unzip process. It had worked fine on my machines, but when I downloaded the software myself, it didn't work here either. But now it should work everywhere! Thanks. Sean.
The first issuance of ITAWA is released to the cheering of millions! Well, not really. Either way, I think this is a great step forward for me personally to give back to the open source community as well as a step into bringing the ideas of open source to a typically closed source development environment. Enjoy. Sean.
