iTALC is a use- and powerful didactical tool which lets you view and control computers in your labs and interact with students in a modern way. It supports Linux and Windows NT/2000/XP and it even can be used transparently in mixed environments.
Great program for teaching in a computer lab. Installation was a little tricky, but figured it all out. Nice work!
Incredible package. running on windows xp, 20 student desktops and two teacher desktop setup, allows viewing of all students, and remote control, snapshots. Most features works well, have had a couple of bumps in the road with showing teacher screen on students (added a screen compressor that was recommended, help speed, but no change in demo mode). But use it daily with every class, has shortened maintenance time by 80%. and keeps students in line because they know I can watch what they are doing. also have it going in a wireless lab with 15 laptops students, and 3 laptop teachers. Great Product!
Getting it to work on Vista takes some tweaking, but it's extremely useful for teaching IT, or any subject that involves demonstrations or work on computers.
