iSafer firewall sucks.
My Tip: Avoid this firewall at all costs!
After installation it changes your privileges. Simply there in no Shutdown button, Run button, you can’t access the control panel, “control” + “alt” + “delete” only brings up the “Cancel” button. Further more uninstalling the product does not rectify the changes and system restore to an earlier point is...

I think it could be usefull to save the log on a file
(with custom dimension) continuisly... so it is simpler
to control eventual connection problem.

i have a problem with thunderbird: it works well with not
ssl accounts but it deny access to thunderbird when
downloading ssl account (gmail).
I also setted up a specific rule for gmail ip and port but
it stil continue to deny access!

Hello,
1-) Denied Connection advises or/and blinking icon is a good
idea when a closed port/or/ soft is called.
2-) I-safer v3001 works on my Win 98SE PC , except the
Firewall Log Windows.
3-) Import configuration functions from .txt files should be
a great improvement ether.
It will be a good idea too, to make compatible i-safer v3001
with W98 SE , Win 2k,...Win XP.

when I press start it says that I need administrator
rights to start the firewall even if I'm logged in as
computer administratorin win xp sp2.
