Changes neccessary for current Debian sid ffmpeg:
- xvid encoder renamed to libxvid
- audio and video bandwidth no longer in kbps but in bps.

you are absolutely right. The process should check the exit
code of ffmpeg and behave accordingly.

it needs to somehow know to exit when you hit 'q' while
ffmpeg is running. it's not that bad with a few files
to hit 'q' a few times to stop it but imagine hundreds
of music videos. it would a nightmare.
