Description

Inkcut is a program used to send HPGL directly to cutter or plotter from Inkscape. Inkcut is used for sign making, namely cutting vinyl graphics, letters, and decals. It should support any device that uses HPGL.

    Hey guys, This software works great i love it, is so easy to work with it. I just have a little issue, the size of the graphic i want to cut in Inkscape, when i cut cut it is always smaller than the size on the computer, i usually have to make the graphic on inkscape larger is it will cut the size i want it, anyone can help me with this? here is my email in case anyone wants to help gibranlp@gmail.com Thanks in advance.     Brillant! I can finally drive my Cogi E-1350 vinyl cutter directly from Inkscape. Worked out of the box on my Ubuntu 10.04 LTS laptop (even with my cutter's serial interface via USB). Cool extension with a nice, intuitive GUI Thanks, frmdstryr! You rock.

    I found problem: Linux does not support the Stellaris usb - an ACM device. Windows is not an option. .......... I think inkcut is really what the linux world needs - BUT - i cannot get my plotter working. Its a hp 7475a compatible plotter connected via usb - as /dev/ttyACM0 but when i set it up in inkcut - no reaction from plotter. I think its connection problems - but i dont really know.
