Hey there! Here's a quick update to Infomaki. The main thing is a fix to a database migration that will prevent errors when building your DB for the first time. Also, we've removed NYPL's Google Analytics code and templated the Analytics placeholder. Please note: if you downloaded version 0.1 last week, please update to this version (or at least delete the Analytics code) so you don't clobber our stats. That shouldn't have been in there ;) We've also frozen Rails 2.2 so there won't be any issues with 2.3 or later.
Infomaki is a Ruby on Rails application developed by the New York Public Library as a way of rapidly testing alternate designs and navigation language with minimal disruption to users. We're using it to power http://usability.nypl.org and test new designs for the main NYPL.org web site. More and better documentation is forthcoming, but for now you can keep up with Infomaki news and anecdotes at the NYPL Labs blog, http://labs.nypl.org.
