The iLabs Mobile Toolbox aims at facilitating development of mobile clients in JavaME. Main features are XMPP and ATOM apps., HTML rendering with some CSS support and the Widger framework for making mobile applications with rich server side logic.

Type of phones tested: Sony Ericsson JP-5,6,7,8, Nokia S40, S60, HTC Known issues: Nokia S60 CLDC 1.0 (Nokia 6600) class MarkupReader skips characters for unknown reasons. HTC on some devices no support for JavaME multimedia API and hence no support for camera. HTC on some devices the font used by Java ME is very tiny! Sone Ericsson C702 latest firmware upgrade Hangs when using full screen view and HTTP! Solution: do not use full screen, but let the standard header on the sceen always be shown. So from now on: Use WebView for HTTP (it can also do the same as HtmlView) Use HtmlView for local resource files and for showing Html generated by programs Implemented mechanism for version control, in the form of a VersionCheckerAction class and a few other classes.
