  • Thanks for a great program under a free open source license!
  • Thanks !
  • Still beta, but it works great !!! Tip: Use the x32 version.
  • Doesn't work. Looks like this project is just getting started and has just created a shell. I tried the 64-bit Sep 03 version. SW wanted to open ICO files by default and the only other choice was all files.
  • VERY simple and straight-to-the-point layout, and it produces an ico exactly to Microsoft's spec. Just be aware that if your ico has a single image with PNG compression (which Microsoft actually requires for 256x256 images), then Windows Photo Gallery will say the ico is corrupt and won't display anything (which is pretty ironic). The ico is NOT corrupt, however. If you use a resource extractor like ResHacker and extract an .ico out of say C:\Windows\system32\imageres.dll, you'll get the same message. The point is that your ico DOES work, and it'll display fine in Windows Explorer and it'll work fine if you use your ico in an .exe. Overall, it's a really great utility that really saved me time.
