Yes, Hy3S should compile on Mac OSX. You will need a Fortran95 compiler and the NetCDF distribution. The NetCDF distribution can be pre-compiled for Mac OS X (darwin) or compiled from the source with a Fortran95 / C compiler. Intel makes a nice Fortran95 compiler for Mac OS X. Absoft also has one.
