We are delight to announce that HumBlog has finally gone public. After a short series of test releases and bug fixes, our v0.91 is now available for download. But remember; this is a Beta release! We expect - indeed demand - feedback from users.
A pre-Beta version of HumBlog has now been released and is available for download. This has been issued to allow would-be users to examine and assess the scripts, and - hopefully - to provide feedback and new ideas which can be incorporated into the forthcoming Beta version. Currently HumBlog contains a broad selection of features intended to make it fun to use, easy to set up and very configurable. Current features include: 1. A three stage back-up system allowing users and administrator to cancel unwanted changes to a blog entry or revert to the original unmodified entry. 2. The ability to add thumbnailed graphics to a blog entry. 3. Full search of the blog archive by content or keyword. 4. A simple administrative function allowing unwanted content to be deleted from the blog. 5. An attractive and subtle default colour scheme which can be modified by means of a stylesheet. Anyone interested is welcome to download and try out HumBlog, but please take the time to give us your feedback via the public forum on this project's home at SourceForge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/humblog/). A working version of HumBlog can be found here: http://213.120.106.138/~Humblewordsmith/index.php
