Panorama stitching and more. A powerful software package for creation and processing of panoramic images.
It's great for making huge panorama out of several pictures. You can also make HDR panoramas! I've been using it for years. It's a really active project, with lots of users involved, students helping each year during the Google Summer Of Code. It works really well, even if it may still not be as intuitive and fast as other commercial products, but it's improving everyday and you have a lot of control on what you're doing.
bravo
An excellent stitcher that keeps getting better. Best feature is the wide choice of projections for the final panorama, or maybe the seamless blending. I love the resizing options too: try Spline 64, it really beats photoshop's bicubic.
I have tried autostitch - jpeg only so little room for post processing ...and panorama factory - out of memory errors all the time - I then tried Hugin ... fantastic just using auto (I am not a techy yet!) - it is just amazing that all these folk out there are doing this stuff.
very good program
great !
Great panorama software
Very nice panorama tool
Best free tool that i have ever seen
impressive piece of software! extremly good results although it might overwhelm with features at the begginig
great
Really good project. Hugin has improved a lot in the last year. Congratulations and thanks.
It is a great tool that make panorama with accurate effect
Excellent tool!
Love at first sight :-)
Best FOSS panorama suite out there.
Excellent panorama tool, requires a bit of learning to use all features correctly.
Clunky. No integrated control point generator. No Photoshop output. Doesn't do much but then it doesn't say it does.
I created some excellent panoramas with very little effort.I think this has Photoshop beat six ways. I don't care about photoshop output. TIFF and JPEG are fine for me.
You can't do more to a bunch of stacked photos or images :-) And that with a minimum of work and costs for a maximum of value. I for myself achived some valuable pictures - and I am NOT an artist, so everyone can do this!
The addition of Enfuse is brilliant! It has made the processing of bracketed shots child's play. Bravo.
QUITE SIMPLY THE BEST PANORAMIC SOFTWARE THAT I HAVE USED, WORKS A DREAM ON MAC OXS. WELL DONE TO ALL CONCERNED AND THANKS VERY MUCH!
An excellent free alternative to expensive commercial panorama photo stitching programs. Creates all sorts of panorama types. Try searching Flickr for Hugin to see lots of examples.
excelente
1) it crashes all the time without warnings because not enough memory is available. 2) You guys could really make hugin render a preview image that one can work with (e.g. a medium resolution panorama created without blending and corrections that is shown in real time) to avoid waiting seconds(6-10s!) for the "preview" to refresh after one click 3) the simple low order polynomial lens distortion model can't fix some consumer grade zoom lenses' distortions so the optimization will never converge. No relaxation model is incorporated that would glue the borders together once the correspondences are found via correlation. 4) the help & suggestions newsgroup is not end-user friendly and developers, if at all, reply with short and unfriendly emails.
