htmsysinfo writes information about your system to two HTML, LaTeX, or plain text documents. It is able to read system information such as IDE/SCSI devices, network, CPU, RAM, kernel, kernel configuration, process information, etc.

<P> <UL TYPE=CIRCLE> <LH>htmsysinfo 1.7</LH> <LI>_complete_ rewrite of htmsysinfo <LI>much smaller than htmsysinfo <= 1.6, but it has more functions ! htmsysinfo 1.7 is a complete rewrite of htmsysinfo. It is smaller than previous htmsysinfo releases because there was just too much duplicated and uneffective code in htmsysinfo <= 1.6. htmsysinfo 1.7 uses the libgtop to get the process information and a few other things. But most stuff is still taken from /proc, because libgtop has no functions for getting information about the system cpu as the proc filesystem has, for example. Just have a look at htmsysinfo 1.7 and it's ChangeLog ! For now, there is only a english version of htmsysinfo 1.7. I'll translate it to the German language soon. I'm looking foward to release a graphical version of htmsysinfo, too. It will be written in Gtk(mm). If you have problems using or installing htmsysinfo, if you have suggestions or questions, feel free to contact me: ude@handshake.de !
