Html2Wml converts HTML pages to WML pages, suitable for being viewed on a Wap device. The conversion can be done either on the command line to create static WML pages or on-the-fly by calling this program as a CGI.

This release brings several enhancements and bugfixes in the URL translation and the ASCII characters conversion engines. The HTML to compactHTML (iMode) converter has been updated with the new code.

This stable release brings major enhancements. CHANGES This release adds several important bugfixes and offers proxy support. WML output has been greatly improved. The action "skip" and the "for" action parameter have been added. This release also includes an HTML-to-cHTML (iMode) converter, based on the Html2Wml model.
