HyperSQL Database Engine

Hello,

I'm just happy because I got the newest version of HSQLDB to run on my machine and I was able to set up a new encrypted inprocess database. I just wonder if it's possible to use this database for a standalone server too? I tried differend starting options for the server with the crypt_key as an additional option but I wasn't able to get it to run.

Ideas?

Yes, it is possible. Simply use the file: URL (including the encryption properties) as the URL of the database (the database path) for the server.
