• Easier update for modemDefs and fap.ini

  Windows users may now download a setup program to update the modemDefs and optionally fap.ini instead of having to manually edit or replace the files. The new setup program also stops and starts the hnFAPMon Service after updating the files. In the future (until the next release of hnFAPMon) updated modemDefs and fap.ini will be available with this setup program.

• hnHealth V0.2 is available

  This version of hnHealth considers recent problems more important than older problem. Problems in the current hour are 25% of the score, problems in the previous 2 hours are 25%, 3-11 hours ago are 25%, and the remainder is 25% A new --loop option is available to make hnHealth run as many times as you select. -1 will run forever (until you type Ctrl-C to exit)

• New tool hnHealth available

  You may now download a new tool for monitoring the health of your HN satellite connection. Go to the download page for hnFAPMon, and look under the main download link for additional files. You can download hnHealth there. This is currently only available for Win32 users. If you use Linux or MacOS X, you may get the source for the script by clicking on the Code link. hnHealth.pl is located in the tools directory. The funcionality of hnHealth will be built into the next release of hnFAPMon. At that time, the stand-alone hnHealth will probably be removed.
