  hlterm (or hl) is a highly customizable perl-compatible regexp highlighter for wide range of terminal emulators. It supports multiple patterns that can be included into each other, overlapped etc. within one line. Also it can be used as grep-like engine, per-command highlighter etc. You can use it just to learn perl regexps!
