User Reviews

  • Saves me from using vim on Linux. Lots of versatility with Rexx/Regina macro language. Been using for over 25 years.
  • Coming from XEdit/REXX background (IBM VM/CMS) via KEdit/PersonalREXX (DOS, Win) (Mansfield Software group) to THE and Regina REXX. Still one of the best editors around. The only thing missing, though not trivial to implement I fear, is unicode support. I prefer the old CUI TUI text mode interface.
  • Same reasons. I used Xedit for years and am familiar with this territory in THE. Now I write .the macros all the time.
  • The product is great for us mainframe users who have use Xedit for many years. I don't understand the guy that gave it a 'thumbs down' because it was stated that it is "OS Independent". This is delivered in source. How much more "OS Independent" can you get???
