The 'Half Baked Ray Caster' provides 3D rendering mixed with native Flash MovieClip type objects. It supports textures and lighting, and fairly smooth animation on high end PCs. It's written using the free Flex 2 SDK, a C preprocessor and make tools.

The MinGW installer now gets only normal release MinGW files from sourceforge again, and implements a work-around for Vista that doesn't need patched builds. You are limited in where you can install your mingw directory tree, but cpp works again, so the build's faster.
The flex2cpp MINGW installer batch now implements some work-arounds that make the build faster. Also some unit tests involved during this thing's development are now in the project to be tinkered with.
