Description

The HART (Hardware Access in Real-Time) Toolbox can be used to generate Scicos-blocks for hardware that have a C/C++ interface. The blocks can be used under Linux for soft and hard real time tasks (RTAI). Blocks are provided for DAQ (COMEDI).

    My test setup: HART toolbox with USB-DUX D Scicoslab 4.4 and Scilab/Xcos 5.3.1 Ubuntu realtime kernel 2.6.31-11-rt Intel Core i3 I achieved very good realtime performance when runing as root with realtime priority. Without realtime priority deadlines are frequently missed.
