Halite is an open-source BitTorrent client and is based on the excellent libtorrent library from Rasterbar Software. The remote control interface for Halite has been put on the back burner while the more pressing features that a bittorrent client needs.
uttorrent forever
As always, this project gets better and better....now its footprint in RAM is 2megs, 4-8 when downloading 2-4 torrents. Simply awesome!! Keep up the good work, Eoin!
Yeas I would!!! Excellent!!!
I prefer the interface and options with Halite to anything I have used since the earlier BitComet versions ( approx. pre.8.85).
J'adore. Bonne vitesse de téléchargement, fonctionne parfaitement avec Windows. Seven x64. Interface légère. Un must =)
Ottimo cliente torrent. facile da configurare.leggero e senza tanti fronzoli. Bravi. ciao
A great safe alternative torrent client for windows.
Main competitor to μTorrent . Was at NO1 before μTorrent developed to 1.8 in this segment of tiny clients , keep working !
Halite is a nice torrent client. I catch the best speeds with Halite :) Halite comes in many languages to a city near you :D
much like uTorrent but faster, for me at least, and easier to configure
Best torrent client that actually 'Works' with RC4 and Plaintext encryption.
Going to test more but so far I am impressed!
Simple and efective
5 of 5 stars. But make this client portable in near future please.

Simple and light, rich of features (DHT, peer exchange and so on). Quite like μTorrent, but it's FREE SOFTWARE and you don't have to worry about what they're doing with your data.
Very nice.Simple but perfect
my god this thing is slow, extremely slow, when i try to reroute the torrent download locations, instead of just asking once where i want to send them as an option let alone memorizing my last selection the god damned thing keeps asking over and over and it is extremely slow, on top of that it doesn't tell you what torrent you're redirecting in the title bar, it's as if i would be redirecting for eternity, i had to crash the stupid thing, on top of that you may only deal with the current function you cant do anything with the main window, why didn't this guy take a hint from utorrent, duh? come the hell on wow i wasted like 15 minutes on this garbage can i have my time back asshole? stupid jerk you stole my time with your show off attempt! JERK! danieljknight@hotmail.com you should pay me for telling you this jerk
