• GroundWork Foundation 2.0.1 Released

  This major release of Foundation includes several key features to improve the data throughput and data reliability. -> Integrated JMS Topic & Queue server to enable publish/subscribe of events and guaranteed delivery of messages. -> re-factored Business layer to use Hibernate Criteria instead of HQL. This resulted in a significant performance improvement. -> Improved documentation and tutorials available as PDF

  New and improved Features: 1) New SystemAdmin adapter that uses an XML schema for input validation. Messages can be grouped in commands. A command defines the transaction boundaries. 2) Integrated JMS topic and JMS Queue server. The JMS queue is configured to persist all incoming messages before processing. This allows to guaranteed delivery of any messages. 3) Converted all hql queries to criterias (preferred by Hibernate). This resulted in a huge performance increase. 4) New multithreaded message Dispatcher for parallel processing of incoming messages. The dispatcher detects depended messages and process them in serial mode. 5) Include JSF 1.2 libraries and enabled Comet so that UI applications can use the push technology.
