Hi,
i have a quite similar problem since a few months. MPC crashes always. No matter which DVD. I have no idea what caused that stange behaviour since it worked perfekt for years.
Any suggestions anyone?.

Heya:) running the media player rev 104 on the new Windows 7:), but i got still the problem to load the subtitles, for explain i do the same name like video.avi video.srt both in the same directory afcours:) but it don't want to load the subs with the video, i must add the subs manuel via File Load Subtitle... can you please fix this, it's very irritating to add subs manuel, thx anyway it's...

Hello.
I'm programming a simple video player and I would like to add subtitles. I heard that DirectVobSub could help. But I can't find any tutorial on how to use it in a player. Could you tell me how to display subtitles with this filter ? I'm using DirectShow and C++.

I'm trying to find the best way to do combination AR and crops on really badly encoded videos. For example, I have been finding clips that have two sets of "black bars". so the source needs to be custom-cropped, then AR-corrected to 16:9. Would it be possible to provide the option for having a Tray Icon *instead* of a Taskbar Button?
It seems pretty useless having a Tray Icon at all if you still have a taskbar button wasting the space it always did. Screen real estate is such a precious resource...

First of all I want to say a big thanks to everyone working on this, you're all doing a big job.
I have a 6 channel speaker system installed. Front left, centre, right, subwoofer and back left, centre, right. How do I get mpc to also output audio on the 3 back speakers?
I'm only getting sound from the front 3 and sub. Any help would be highly appreciated.
