Nevermind. I'll need to figure out how to set a proxy under cygwin.
Git repository is working great with linux at home.

Is the git repository correctly configured? I'm getting errors about the server not properly set up. Granted, I'm on Windows and entirely new to git, so I could easily be the problem.
$ git clone http://gto.tweaksoftware.com/gto.git
Initialized empty Git repository in C:/msysgit/msysgit/gto/.git/
Cannot get remote repository information.
Perhaps git-update-server-info needs to be run...
