Is there some way that Sysinfo could please show the xserver / driver name + its version that the system is running?
Current under "System", it says "Xorg version" is "unknown (24 October 2008 08:00:16AM)". That tells me when the server was built, but does not indicate which xserver is running, or which verion. (The distro I'm currently running is Ubuntu 8.10)

Some more bugs were corrected in sysinfo 0.7 in ubuntu
three bugfixes :
* sysinfo fails to show all hardware when there are a lot of usb or pci controllers

You already have put some information about the version of Gnome we are using. But what about including information about the version of KDE or Xfce.

I think you should put information on the current computers temperature. You could take this information straight off the terminal command (can't remember the command myself)

patch created to solve a few issues in sysinfo 0.7
- references to website http://sysinfo.r8.org replaced by http://sourceforge.net/projects/gsysinfo (sysinfo.r8.org is not active anymore)
- about box could only be closed once, then it just produced a small rectangle
- crash when clicking on Nvidia icon
- use of lsb-release version information (now shows ubuntu release in stead of...

There are a few bugs I see in the about window:
- The Close button doesn't work, I have to use the window manager's close button.
- If I open the about window and close it then reopen it. I get a very condensed unusable window. I can right click on the small square and close it but I cannot view it until I restart the application.
