Thank you for using gSOAP!

The latest open source gSOAP release is available for download under the GPLv2 license. Old GPLv2-licensed releases will be archived. The current and older commercial gSOAP versions are available for download from Genivia if you purchased a commercial-use license.

By popular request, a legacy gSOAP 2.7.18 release (January 2008) is included with important updates and patches applied. This old version does not support the latest more secure OpenSSL versions and should not be used with OpenSSL.

Genivia dual-licenses the gSOAP software. The default licensing is GPLv2 (GNU Public Lciense), which applies to the gSOAP software available on all public repositories, including SourceForge.

Commercial-use licenses are available from Genivia for commercial softare development. Standard-edition licenses and Enterprise licenses include annual professional technical support services. Please note that Genivia is the sole copyright owner and licensor of the gSOAP toolkit.

Tip: to get started, visit the project home page at https://www.genivia.com/dev.html for how-to instructions, tutorials and documentation.

Pro tip: you can easily and safely reuse the interface header file(s) generated by an older version of the wsdl2h tool with newer versions of the soapcpp2 tool. This means that upgrading to the latest version is easy: just run the latest soapcpp2 tool on your interface header files and compile/link with the latest gSOAP libraries.

Watch a short video on YouTube about gSOAP, explaining the basics of gSOAP used in a case study.

If you have a problem, visit the FAQ and resources first to see if that resolves the issue, if not then we suggest to open a bug tracker ticket at SourceForge.
