gSmile is an open-source emoticon manager, with which you can store youremoticons in (nested) folders and find them quickly whenever you need one of them.Written in Python, it uses the GTK+2 toolkit through the PyGTK wrapper.

After some months of not-so-much-will-to-work-about-it, gSmile 0.1.1 is out. Along some UI improvements, there are important new features: now you can edit or delete an emoticon you stored in gSmile and you can even cut an emoticon and paste it into another folder.
