Hi,
I'm not sure what I can tell you. We mainly use elevation plots to get an idea of how good/long the pass will be. Of course we know from the mission timeline how long it will really be. The main reason we have a big display is to get an immediate feed back on where the satellite is and how long we have until the next pass.
The guys in the project support room have no such display and do...

Hi,
This functionality can be added with relatively little effort thanks to the current architecture in Gpredict. I can take a stab at it but if you can give some input concerning what functionality is expected, e.g. how to present pass predictions, it would be of great help.
PS: Note that Gpredict has been moved to a separate project on Sourceforge http://sourceforge.net/projects/gpredict...

The current model seems to be based on a single ground station and multiple satellites. The model I need is multiple ground stations and a single satellite -- this is the scenario in a satellite mission control centre. Right now we're preparing the launch of CryoSat-2 (due Feb 2010) with regular training sessions in the control centre at ESOC. I'm not so impressed by the official display and...

The layout engine has not changed since 0.9
I'm looking into having a more generic layout engine that will allow more flexible setups.
