I've tried copying the Calibri, Nyala, and Segoe UI fonts (new for Windows Vista / Office 2007) to greader2x' directory and switching both (separarately or at the same time) the Menu and Main fonts to any of these. greader2x crashes very reliably whenever I attempt to use these fonts. I suspect the possible cause is that these are OpenType rather than TrueType fonts. Would it be possible to...

Ability to hide the progress bar. It could be shown when you press some key and/or enter the menu.

It would be useful to be able to jump directly to a offset in the file. There could also be an option to specify "jump to xx% of the file" but it would no be so exact as a position in bytes. And there could be a place where the current position in the file is shown, for example when you enter the menu.

Hyphenation. It doesn't have to be grammatically correct, just break the word and put a hyphen if at least two letters fit in the current line. Justified text looks a lot nicer if there are not large white spaces between words. And numbers can just be broken without hyphens, not to confuse with the minus sign.
