I basically just did alot of touchup work. Not horribly too much. Just made it a little more secure, and added a feature or two that people were asking for. Here is the run down on some of the files. /bin/warning -=- The warning file/motd to cat to users as they get ready to setup an account. Basically just lets them know the rules of the system, please, please, please edit this to your needs! /usr/bin/createdusers -=- This is where a log of all your created users are kept. Make sure this is being written for you (it should be). As always, this is a SCRIPT running as ROOT or another Super User. Watch your box! Also, there have been told sightings of blogin staying in the cpu and chewing up countless cycles. (someone reported a 18 load average on uptime.) I have not been able to replicate this on my system, so if anyone else see's this and/or knows how to fix it, please email me! Graphix -=- decss@home.com (Want more features? Have an idea? Email me!)
3 holes were patched. Users can no longer do a -u 0 username This allowed them to create a uid of 0. Meaning their account had root priv. The script no longer accepts a -, a space, or the word root ANYWHERE in the user name. I also went around and cleaned up some other code. I've added some comments to the code to make it easier to read also.
