GrabTheMic is an Open Source implementation of community-driven news sites such as Digg (http://www.digg.com) and Reddit (http://www.reddit.com). It is powered by Ruby on Rails.
Version 0.7 is out, which includes a new admin page that allows you to modify the system name and subtitle, as well as configure news stories to open in the same or separate windows.
Sorry for missing the news about the v0.5 release, but we're moving fast here. 0.6 has been pushed to the public. The admin interface is shaping up quite well. Not much left to go before the 1.0 release.
