GPT fdisk is a disk partitioning tool loosely modeled on Linux fdisk, but used for modifying GUID Partition Table (GPT) disks rather than the Master Boot Record (MBR) partition tables that fdisk handles.

This is the only available full-fledged GPT editor for all non-filesystem related tasks. GPT fdisk has many useful GPT recovery options and the ability to non-destructively convert MBR and BSD disklabels to GPT, and the option of directly manipulating the GUIDs in the GPT.
