    Just a pity, I taught I had found the tool I needed. My camera (Nikon P510) stored the GPS location, but no GEOtags. GPicSync can generate GEOtags, but it will only work if you provide a GPS-file. I think that it would be only a small adaption to tell the application that the GEOlocation is already in the picture, and you only want the system to find GEOnames. Can you make this small adaptation? Thanks.

    I've been using GPicSync in conjunction with my Columbus V900 for years and tens of thousands of pictures. Great project!
