Great piece of software. Tried numerous methods to sync my Google Contacts with my Outlook, both paid and free. GO Contact Sync Mod worked out to be the most painless. It is brilliant and well deserving of the 5 stars. And did I mention the painless installation, configuration and syncing?

Easy way to synchronise across different platforms - version 3:11.12 Starting version 4 disappointing - didn't finsih at all, somethig wit GoogleApis mixing up Contact mode and Person Mode. So I went back to 3.11.12 ....

There are many ways (3 that I know of) to synch Outlook and Google. This app provides the least painless way of achieving that goal.

Very nice application. Gmail easily imported contacts from Outlook to Outlook. It is a great convenience not to print the password. Periodic synchronization planning over time is a nice feature. However, the user interface can be more simple and elegant.

OMG, where have you been in my life! I used to use Plaxo, and since their demise, I was lost! This product integrates easily and works amazingly well. I would HIGHLY recommend.

Fantastic piece of software, allows me to keep my personal and a copy of my business calendar updated on a single gmail account. Support is great too, the regularly updates keep the program alive. If I want to find a minus, I'd say the interface, it could be better designed and lacks of a settings backup.

I have been using GCSM for over two years. For us it replaced My Phone Explorer (FJ Software) which is a great program but requires either tethering or connecting your phone wirelessly to your PC. It makes Google syncing more of a three way process but it does work. I don't understand one of the negative reviews here for the code not being supported. GCSM has been actively updated about once every two months. If I had ONE feature request it would be to somehow sync Outlook Tasks and Notes as well. Probably require work since Google stores tasks as specialized Calendar items where Outlook stores them as discrete items. Keep up the good work devs!

perfect tool

Great Product BUT..... clearly the code is now unsupported. No response from the developers since the end of 2016. It stopped working a few days ago but a suggestion from another company fixed the problem. SO great as long as it works but if there is a problem, or some change in the outlook app or google contacts, then you're unlikely to solve it. If you have a critical dependency on the contacts syncing then find another product that is supported. Sync2 works, with some odd behaviours, but is expensive. But worth it if you need outlook and google sync'd.

Incredibly easy to set up. Seems to do the job. Some comments though: 1. I have a bit over 4000 contacts, and it is taking well over an hour to sync. It would be far more efficient it did its job in batch by first identifying ALL the items to add in one fell swoop and performed an import instead of adding them one at a time. Same with the updates, which could be done as a mass delete + insert. I think this approach would cut the time down by about 80% 2. The detailed log is pretty darn useless. Far better would be a dashboard summary log. 3. The small summary at the top is totally inaccurate. For he past 30 minutes it's been running it reads Syncing contact 4048 of 4048 Nikki Beach...., while the detail log just keeps appending, painfully slowly. 4. Merging between disparate database like gmail and exchange is pretty complex. This app does a good job hiding the complexity, but I wonder what's missing on both sides, since they each have fields not supported by the other one.

It takes less than 5 mins to set up this tool. It does what it's meant to do, providing few useful options for customization. Unfortunately I faced the same issue reported by other users: it does not sync a copy-and-paste event in outlook calendar. Nice feature to have would be a selective sync based on google account's labels.

Indispensable tool!

This is a great piece of software! I had some tricky issues when launching for the first time and had to adjust some settings but it now works like a charm!

Seems like a great program, just getting an error 'Outlook exception, please assure that Outlook is running and not closed when syncing: Out of memory or system resources. Close some windows or programs and try again.'

This product seamlessly solved my synchronisation problem between Outlook 2013 and Google Contacts. Even though I have G-Suite, and could have used the Google product, my primary contacts account was my personal GMail, so I had to look for an alternative.
