Tried to use this on SUSE 10.1/AMD X2 system and had precisely the same problem. Seems to work fine on my IBM T41 though (running SLED10).

I run the "make check" on my AMD Operaton SMP (Fedora Core
3) and everything looks fine.
Can you share your testing case which I can try to reproduce
it on my machine?

The readme says "see the man pages for GetCoreDump
and WriteCoreDump". There are no man pages in the
package and "install-man" is empty. List of files in the
rpm:

The core dumper is currently only supported on Linux x86 and
x86_32. I am not aware of anybody currently porting it to
AIX, but I'd be happy to see patches for this.
