It allows you to search words and phrases from as many places as you like, add them to your favs, make folders, get pronunciation, hotkeys, search menu, so good... And don't forget the wonderful scan popup that allows you to look up words in a popup no matter where you are on PC...

I found it best. It support's various dictionaries format. Best for window dictionaries. Please increase the GD+Anki pair functionality. Best Regards from Shoes Perk

Fantastic work of being able to pull out existing dictionary files in the PC automatically. Even some of the dictionary program that is no longer under development. Now, I am getting a UI revamped version of the same dictionary program since database is reused and with support. Good job. About the Wikipedia sites link, it seems like it is not working well, same goes to Morphology and Websites. The audio function using Windows native API is not working either. I am on Windows 10 64bit. But overall, I am pleased with the application still. thanks.

More than 10 years ago, I invested several hundred EUR in many dictionaries in a Windows only software. Thanks to Golden Dict, this investment is not lost, I use this dictionaries now on my Linux Ubuntu notebook.

I would like to be able to switch between different dictionaries result, like in Lingoes. Thanks!

Best dictionary ever!

When tring to access Wikipedia (any wikipedia) I got the following error: "Query error: XML parse error: unexpected end of file at 1,1". I comunicated this problem to the author via e-mail, no answer yet Also the program is not showing any pictures from the dictionaries. It´s a shame because apart from this these faults it seems a very promising piece of software. The OS of the computer used to try the program was the Windows 7 Home 64 bits version.

a great program, so great that you don't notice it, just works. The only suggestion is to increase functionality for GD+Anki pair.
