  • Probably good code, great functionality, but won't run on your Win10 PC until you manually configure a path properly. Try finding wget.exe in \Program Files (x86)\GnuWIn32\bin and add that directory to your path. Really sloppy installation and configuration, guys.

  • The problem with Linux tools on Windows is that there are actually too many projects. This means when the one person who created a great project for his computer science project loses interest, the project is dead. There is a gnu website, but it's focus is on Linux. The Linux subsystem for Windows 10 looks promising, but it's sources are controlled by Ubuntu and the project is controlled by Microsoft. One meta project with multiple contributors would be great. Of course, the obvious answer was mentioned in another post. Get Linux. If the project administrator doesn't like comments like this in ratings, then check in on the project once in a while, and open the Wiki and Discussion section to registered users.
