This plug-in is an Eclipse CDT Manged Build Extension for 32/64-bit GNU ARM Toolchains like GNU Tools for Embedded, Linaro, Mentor/CodeSourcery CodeBench Lite, Summon, Yagarto, devkitPro, etc.
- simplify project management (no need to create makefiles)
- support major ARM32/64 toolchains (GNU Tools for ARM Embedded, Linaro, Sourcery Lite)
- runs on Windows, GNU/Linux, Mac OS X
- fully functional project templates
Amazing work ! Thanks a lot !
Latest Version (org.eclipse.cdt.cross.arm.gnu_0.5.5) is not able to generate the compiler flags -mfloat-abi=softfp -mfpu=fpv4-sp-d16 -gdwarf-2 from the data filled in on the C++ Build/Settings/Target Processor page :-((((
thanks for this great software. it saves me so much time.
My interest is in cross-compiling to a Raspberry Pi running the "official" Raspian OS from Debian Linux on Apple OSX. I am using Eclipse 3.8 Indigo and Sourcery G++ Lite 2010.09-110 release data 2011.04.27. The names of the executables in this version of Sourcery Codebench are like, for instance, arm-none-linux-gnueabi-g++ instead of the name arm-none-eabi-g++ that is wired into the plugin. The workaround was to provide symlinks to the executables using the name format expected by the plugin. Once that was done everything worked perfectly. Thank you for a great tool!
