Defunct. Not changed since 2002 and not used in years—I now have much better ways to do this kind of thing.

A mailbox checking and summary GNOME applet (+ standalone application). Displays sender and subject of the most recent emails you have received, with regexp-based sound notification and sender/subject highlighting, screensaver auto-unblanking, and more.
