HP does no longer support Deskjet 6127 for Snow Leopard.
Luckily Gutenprint does! Many thanks to the developers...
One request along with many others: Will it be possible to print in duplex mode? To save some paper in this environment conserned world?

I would ask that you update to OS X 10.6.2. There are some color profile fixes in that update.
Do you use any sort of monitor calibration?.

I have been using Gutenprint 5.2.3 for my Epson C88 printer on Mac OSX 10.5.x Leopard w/o any issues. I upgraded to Mac OSX 10.6.1 Snow Leopard this past weekend. I've tried both Gutenprint 5.2.3 and 5.2.4, and I've had problems with both. When printing a 1in. square, I'm getting rough visual texture with A LOT of over spray and the coloring is too light. It takes about 20 seconds for the print dialog to show up when I press command + P in InDesign – that's quite long considering I have a speedy Mac. Haven't checked other Adobe apps yet, it doesn't happen in other apps like Word, TextEdit as far as I'm concerned. Whats causing this?

A quick edit of the paper.xml file gave me the 50" roll choice, won't know for sure if works 'til I got the paper.

Hi,
I have acquired a rather old printer, but still capaple.
Using v5.2.4 with Cups 1.4.2 , Gimp 2.6.7 on Linux (Zenwalk 6.2), the maximum paper width is limited to 44". It appears that this is supposed to have been fixed in v4.2.7, but the last choice on paper size within the Gutenprint UI is 44".
Another query, is it not possible to print 600x600dpi in color with this printer?
