Which file to download?

Version 2.x provides different ways to install GeoKettle. Remember you need to have a Sun/Oracle
JRE installed on your computer in order to run GeoKettle.
- geokettle-2.x-installer.jar is a multiplatform installer with a graphical user interface.
It is the easiest way to install GeoKettle. Note: On Unix/Linux boxes, you need to make
the file executable in order to be able to run the installer from the file browser.
- geokettle-2.x.zip is the zip archive which contains the binary distribution of GeoKettle.
You just have to unzip it into any directory of your choice and you are ready to use
GeoKettle.
- geokettle-2.x-with_plugins.zip is the same as above but it includes the third party plugins
developed by Spatialytics (eg. Sextante plugin).
- geokettle-sextante_plugin-1.x.zip is the binary distribution of the Sextante plugin. In order
to install it, unzip the content of the archive in the GeoKettle installation directory.
Restart GeoKettle and the plugin should be active.
