Geode 0.2.4 was released today. I plan no further releases at this time (but it may be possible to convince me to change my mind). I have provided a RedHat 9-compatible RPM, a source RPM, and a source tarball. For a tasty screenshot of Geode in action, please visit: http://geode.sourceforge.net This release is a fairly stable version which I used in my daily ESI Objects development (I am no longer employed at that job). It did not crash for me under normal use, so it might actually be safe to call it "stable". To find out more about what features Geode does (or does not) have, and before installing or using Geode, please read the Release Notes: http://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?release_id=293998 Also, don't forget to make use of the discussion forums and/or bug database at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/geode/ You may be able to install this RPM on other linux systems that are similar to RedHat; please let me know the results if you attempt to do so. Under no circumstances will you be able to run Geode on a system that does not provide GNOME 2.x, so if you only have RedHat 7.x or similar, you're out of luck--it's time to upgrade.
02 January 2005 * Geode 0.2.4: Bug-fix release: * o Geode now uses significantly less memory * o 0.2.4 is better than 0.2, but I've forgotten exactly what I fixed * way-back-when. Just try it! *

Geode 0.2 was released yesterday, and I just added a RedHat 9-compatible RPM today. For a tasty screenshot of Geode in action, please visit: http://geode.sourceforge.net You may be able to install this RPM on other linux systems that are similar to RedHat; please let me know the results if you attempt to do so. Please read the Release Notes before installing or using Geode: http://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?release_id=252722 This release is a fairly stable version which I use in my daily ESI Objects development. It does not crash for me under normal use, so it might actually be safe to call it "stable". I am VERY frequently adding new features as I require them for my work. This entire project has been developed in less than two months of part-time work, so please understand that it is not yet a complete reimplementation of the Windows Client. It should, however, support most features needed for general ESI Objects development. Please feel free to encourage me to add certain features that I have not yet implemented, which are important to you. Send requests, comments, suggestions etc. to me at: geode (at) nomeaning.net Also, don't forget to make use of the discussion forums and/or bug database at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/geode/
