I have access to a repo while using ssh (CVSROOT=:extssh
While trying an import, I get
Expected Valid-requests from server, but got: E Root :extssh:(rest of cvsroot string)
Is there a way to get around that?.

On cygwin gc-utils reports the following error during a gc-commit:
GIT_DIR is not defined or is unreadable at /usr/bin/git-cvsexportcommit line 16.
