GCALDaemon is a Java program that offers two-way synchronization between Google Calendar and various iCalendar (RFC 2445) compatible calendar applications (Sunbird, Rainlendar, Apple iCal, Lightning, Evolution, KDE Kontact, Vista Calendar, etc).

    Great for calendar sync. I hope the lead developper will soon retablish all the functionnalities, which are without equivalent, and invaluable for us.

    I use a program to file synchronization, which is called File Sync. Auto file and folder sync software (http://www.fileutilityblog.com/archives/232) is a necessary thing for everybody. That is why I use this program and haven't such problems. Did you use it? What are the differences among these programs?
